Generic garage door advice assumes a town's housing stock is old enough that every problem traces back to worn-out original hardware. That's not Otsego. At about 7,074 households and a median build year of 2007, this is a newer town than much of the surrounding service area, and the failures we see track that - opener electronics, sensor alignment, and smart-home pairing show up more than cracked original springs or rotted wood panels. A repair plan built for a 1960s suburb doesn't map onto a 2007 one: the spring sizing is different, the opener logic is different, and the parts we need to bring are different. Treating every town on the route the same way means showing up with the wrong spring half the time. We tailor the truck load to what a town's housing era and climate exposure actually produce, and for Otsego that means newer-generation parts first, older hardware as the exception.
